QIA MEDALLION
What is the QIA Medallion?
The QIA Medallion was established in 1948 to commemorate the Queensland Institute of Architects which was founded in 1888 and later became the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, Queensland Chapter.
The Medallion is awarded to the student achieving the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) for their Master of Architecture. This is awarded to each University with a Masters of Architecture program in Queensland.
Presentation
Annually, the current Chapter President presents the QIA medallions for the achievements of outstanding students at all the Queensland Universities. This is done at the President’s Honours Dinner, typically held in the first quarter of each year.
