• - The name entered here will be published in the media and on award certificates. If the project was a collaboration please use the linking words 'and' or 'with' not 'in collaboration with'.
• - Always check the spelling, capitalisation and preferred title of you collaborators' names.

The evaluation criteria for the NSW Graduate Medal and NSW undergraduate Medal are:

• - Engagement with and interpretation of the design brief;
• - Conceptual strength of the design
• - Innovative or experimental responses
• - The depth of resolution
• - The rigour and quality of research into relevant matters
• - The effectiveness of the presentation
• - Functional performance (assessed against the brief)

• - A resonance between the design and the mode of communication
• - Architectural communication and presentation skill

• - Integration of technology, structure and construction
• - The depth of the technical resolution and/or detailing
• - Degree of technical innovation displayed
• - A resonance between the design, the technical resolution and/or detailing

Material may be supplied as follows:

• - JPEG, PNG or PDF files
• - Please supply high resolution images (eg. A4 images at 300 dpi or 3500 x 2400 pixels)
• - A maximum of twenty files can be uploaded with your entry.
• - Heritage entries are also to include 2-4 'before' images

Entrants are required to upload 10 high-resolution photographs of the project that can be used by the Institute for promotional purposes.
Please note that these images are used for judging purposes and may also be sent to the media.

Entrants are required to select a landscape ‘hero’ shot of the project which is the image that the Institute will favour over others in any promotional media.
Please upload this photo labelling it with number '00' at end of file name.
If this image is deemed inappropriate the Institute will select an alternative image.

As specified in the entry handbook, please upload the following:

• - Copy of the design brief and other criteria as officially issued by your University
• - A Report that includes research documentation relevant to the project and/or evidence of the design process
• - Design drawings and photographs.
