Residential Architecture - Multiple Housing
The Marys Hope is a project collaboration with the Department of Social Services and Community Housing Provider (CHP) Housing Choices Tasmania (HCT).
It consists of 26 single level, two bedroom tiered units that were designed and constructed on a very steep site with a tight budget and tighter timeframe.
Client perspective:
“One of the most exciting things about this development from the perspective of residents is that the homes are indistinguishable from main stream housing.
The glorious location, together with the design features inherent and quality materials used ensures a sense of pride and ownership for them and their neighbours.
The consideration given to thermal comfort and other environmental elements also mean that the day to day cost of living associated with water and electricity is reduced, giving residents more disposable income with which to enhance their lives.”
