VALE ALAN CHOE FRAIA

The Institute, and particularly the International Chapter, would like to express sadness on the passing of Alan Choe, FRAIA, who passed away on May 27.
 
Mr Choe has been a member of the Institute since 1958, and was made a Fellow in 1970.
 
He studied architecture, along with town and regional planning in Melbourne, and worked in architecture firms in both Australia and Singapore. Mr Choe then went on to be the first architect-planner of the Singaporean Government’s Housing & Development Board, and the founder of the Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority.
 
The International Chapter of the Institute sends its condolences to family, friends and colleagues of Mr Choe.
