Infrastructure Tasmania wish to obtain formal feedback on the content and use of the Tasmanian Government’s new contract documents launched in September 2023 to ensure they are achieving their aims, including ease of use, and improved and consistent administration of construction contracts across government. The Tasmanian Chapter of the Institute is requesting feedback which we will collate about members’ concern, advice or questions about specific clauses.
The Institute’s primary interest is CONTRACT FOR SUPPLY OF CONSULTANT SERVICES RELATED TO CONSTRUCTION.
This is only about the new contracts launched last September that you have used or have had opportunity to consider a tender process.
However members may also have concerns when administering contracts with AMENDED AS 4000 GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT or AMENDED AS 4902 GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT.
To collect feedback, we are asking members to complete the online form below.
- When completing this survey providing your details is optional – it would allow us to contact you to seek further insight.
- Please select in the dropdown, the particular contract for which your comments or questions are being made.
- Please identify the clauses when making comment.
- Please use one field per clause
- If you run out of fields, start a new form for the additional clauses you are providing comment on.
- Use a separate form for each contract you are commenting on.
Responses to the survey are required no later than Wednesday 11 December to allow them to be collated into a final response.
If you require a reference copy of any of the contracts, please contact Fiona McMullen.
