We are delighted to announce that Daniel Lane RAIA, of Preston Lane, has been elected to fill the role of Tasmanian Chapter President for the remainder of the 2023-2024 term, also taking on the role of Councillor on National Council.
Daniel is a founding director of Preston Lane; an award-winning architectural practice focused on providing innovative and successful design solutions that are response to both the needs of clients and the environment.
Daniel has served on Chapter Council for many years, along with representing the Chapter on the Board of Architects of Tasmania, so his knowledge and understanding of the industry is broad and highly-valued.
After the 2023 Annual General Elections, three casual vacancies were left on the Tasmanian Chapter Council for the 2024-2025 term. Chapter Council would like to announce the following members have been appointed to fill these roles:
- Lucy Burke-Smith (Purcell)
- Andrew Williamson (IDW Architecture and Interiors)
- Hugh Maguire (Maguire and Devine Architects)
With Daniel stepping into the role of Tasmanian President, a fourth casual vacancy was created, for the remainder of the 2023-2024 term. Chapter Council have appointed the following member to fill this role:
- Pippa Jensen (Pippa Architecture)
