Megan Baynes is an architect and urban designer, based in nipaluna/Hobart. She studied architecture at the University of Tasmania and Lunds Tekniske Universitet in Sweden. Megan was the recipient of the Union Internationale des Architects German Federal Environment Award, leading her to work with Sauerbruch and Hutton Architects in Berlin.
Combining an interest in urbanism with her varied experience working across public and private practice, Megan was a long-term collaborator of architecture studio Room11 in Hobart. Megan currently works as a part of the Urban Futures team for the City of Hobart
