It is my great pleasure to welcome Loren Bates to the chapter office. I worked with Loren many years ago when she was part of the national Institute team, and I am delighted to have her skills and knowledge as part of our team servicing both the Tasmanian and International chapters. I cannot express to our membership enough how fortunate we are to have Loren, as well as Katie and Fiona, who all work tirelessly for the membership, along with support of Nina. They go the extra mile to do and achieve for the membership.
You would have hopefully experienced Open House Hobart over the last couple of weeks, either as a volunteer or attendee, and I think you would agree that Katie and the team do a magnificent job organising so many events as part of this program. With 110 opens and events this year, the program was a feast of architecture for all involved. Thank you to all of you who assisted in making the twelfth year of the program such a success.
