Boarding Pass Singapore was a well-received event with positive feedback on the two speakers Robert Morris-Nunn (Australia) and Ivy Koh (Singapore) who presented heritage projects from their architectural careers and respective countries at Boarding Pass Singapore earlier this month (06 November 2024).
Robert chatted about 3 projects: Action House, IXL development and of course Forestry Headquarters, which received a WAFX award that afternoon. Robert noted attendees were very interested in the current Woods Bagot work on the now University of Tasmania Forestry Building.
Ivy spoke about an adaptive reuse project, ‘Temasek Shophouse‘ which received the URA Conservation Heritage Award in 2019 and was a finalist for the President Design Awards in 2021.
The event was a collaboration between the International Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects and Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) with the International Chapter delighted to have SIA National President Melvin Tan in attendance.
With thanks to International Chapter Councilor Wei Yap for co-hosting the event along with co-host Fiona Nixon.
Special thanks to event venue sponsor, SPACE Furniture for their impeccable hospitality.
