This note aims to empower designers to design for connectivity by identifying practical strategies to create ‘corridors’ and high-quality ‘nodes’ for biodiversity within the built environment.

Calling for EOIs
We have openings for member applications to both the Acumen Content Review Panel (ACRP) and the Environment Advisory Group (EAG) as below:
Acumen Content Review Panel
We are seeking two new members to join the ACRP, an active national committee tasked to develop and maintain the accuracy, currency and quality of the Acumen practice notes. Applicants should be a current Institute member and preferably a practicing registered architect.

Environment Advisory Group
We are seeking two new members to join the EAG, an active national advisory group tasked to provide oversight and advice on Environment content in Acumen. Applicants should have a working knowledge of sustainable design and be a current Institute member.
We extend thanks to our outgoing ACT member Paul Barnett for the valued contribution and personable practical perspective he brought to the EAG for over three years.
