As we usher in the new year, I extend my warmest wishes to all members of the South Australian Institute of Architects. May 2025 be a year filled with success, positivity, and growth, both personally and professionally.
Reflecting on the past year, we have made significant strides in advocating for the value of architects and the benefits we bring to society. Our collective efforts have not gone unnoticed, and I am confident that together, we can continue to champion the importance of well-designed and well-constructed built environments.
Our mission remains clear: to promote the highest standards of architectural practice and to ensure that our built environment has quality assets rather than legacy problems. In this spirit, I encourage all members to actively engage with the Institute, participate in our events, contribute when we ask for member views on important issues and contribute to our ongoing dialogue about the future of architecture in South Australia. Architects provide value in a variety of roles, and it is essential to acknowledge the wide reach that we have.
The architectural profession is diversifying and changing, and we need to move with it to be progressive. By embracing these changes, we can continue to innovate and make a positive impact on the built environment.
