The Queensland Chapter had the first 2023 Regional Awards event on Friday, 5 May.
The Darling Downs and West Moreton (DDWM) Regional Awards were held at The City Hall Annex, Toowoomba. All entries submitted for awards were of excellent quality and took into account the unique characteristics of the region. The DDWM region showcases some of the most remote entries into this year’s Queensland Awards.

- Warwick East State School – National School Building by Conrad Gargett, DDWM People’s Choice Award

All commended projects in the series of regional awards progress to Queensland State Awards consideration. The shortlist is judged by the Queensland State Awards Jury.
