Somerset at Indooroopilly is a masterplanned development consisting of 168 Residential Living Apartments and community spaces within a member-owned Golf Course. The scheme is characterised by the generosity of green open space. The design is focused upon preserving substantial vegetation on the site, placing the new building forms within a meaningful landscape setting which is sensitive to neighbouring residences and in keeping with the club surroundings.
The unique apartment design layout maximises natural light to all spaces and allows natural cross ventilation within apartments and corridors. Private balconies are generous in depth with golf course and podium garden views, complete with operable sun screening.
Inviting and flexible community spaces, indoor and outdoor, invite social interaction and build the sense of community that is most important in retirement villages. Ease of access for residents and clear sightlines between indoor and outdoor spaces allows spaces to be sensitively utilised.Client perspective
