Connecting to the University of Melbourne and the city beyond, Melbourne Connect was designed as a landmark academic research facility for the University with a design agenda to regenerate the public realm by providing connections through the site that are available for all to enjoy.
The precinct establishes Australia’s leading campus-centred, multi-disciplinary innovation precinct where university researchers, students, industry and government can collaborate to enhance Australia’s innovation, productivity and sustainability agendas.

We express our gratitude to their Elders and Knowledge Holders whose wisdom, actions and knowledge have kept culture alive.
We recognise First Nations peoples as the first architects and builders. We appreciate their continuing work on Country from pre-invasion times to contemporary First Nations architects, and respect their rights to continue to care for Country.
