The Bundilla Beach Master Plan captures medium and long-term development opportunities for Bundilla Beach Reserve and reflects the aspirations of the Darwin community and stakeholders.
Encompassing City of Darwin’s visions and values; the Master Plan aims at creating more opportunities for recreation and leisure while preserving and enhancing the natural parklands.
The $3.5 million short-term improvements are co-funded by the Northern Territory Government and the City of Darwin and are intended to reactivate the reserve and improve its amenity along the most heavily used beachfront strip.
Hames Sharley worked with City of Darwin to consult on and develop a comprehensive masterplan for the Bundilla Beach area that will provide long term guidance and direction for this important recreational asset. The deep consultation that was undertaken with traditional custodians, community members, key stakeholders and Larrakia organisations and has produced an outstanding document that will guide future development of the area and produce a lasting legacy for the community.
