Is architecture just an artful indulgence patronised by the rich, or if is there a meaningful career to be pursued by idealists wanting to serve humanity?
Architecture can communicate ideas and relationships through the language of space. What do we want to say and who do we want to talk with?
The basic principles of our understanding of space are at the foundation of a language that architects deploy. This language communicates our purpose and carries our meaning, even if we don’t know what we are doing. But if we do use language with care, our capacity for reason and communication is enhanced, and our service to others perception is refined.
Guest speaker Tony McBurney, Director of Integrated Design, speaks to these fundamentals of our tool kit to the realisation of projects that impact people’s lives through purpose.
