The 2023 Queensland Life-Fellows and Fellows Lunch was held Tuesday 15 August.

Every year, this occasion unites our esteemed members in a collegial ambiance to deliberate on the status of architecture, our community, and the industry, while also reconnecting with familiar faces. From many member’s perspectives, it stands as one of the highlights on the Institute’s Queensland calendar, serving as a tribute to those who have contributed significantly to the Institute and its members.

The Institute

The Australian Institute of Architects acknowledges First Nations peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands, waters, and skies of the continent now called Australia.

We express our gratitude to their Elders and Knowledge Holders whose wisdom, actions and knowledge have kept culture alive.

We recognise First Nations peoples as the first architects and builders. We appreciate their continuing work on Country from pre-invasion times to contemporary First Nations architects, and respect their rights to continue to care for Country.
