International Chapter
The Ritz-Carlton is part of an ambitious lifestyle precinct. The project involved forming the site, developing a contemporary, understated yet luxurious design, introducing new construction techniques while keeping a focus on sustainability. The project has become a benchmark for the future of contemporary hospitality design in a nautical setting.
The project is a careful balance between three pillars of sustainability – social equity, environmental protection and economic viability.
The development prioritized employees’ welfare and development through a dedicated campus island. Access to a vibrant marina village adds another dimension to guest experiences, encouraging social engagements beyond their private villas. A holistic and sincere approach towards marine and environmental conservation was applied across its design, construction and operational phases.
Since opening, the project received widespread media coverage and social media followings. Financially, the project generated Gross Revenues 20% above budget and Gross Operating Profits in excess of 26% for FY 2022.
