2024 Client Architect Agreement (CAA2024)

An updated version of the Client Architect Agreement for full services (CAA2024), is now available.

The CAA2024 includes provisions and clarifications on key mechanisms, such as copyright and consequences of breach of copyright, fees, payment terms, GST, negotiating changes to the services and fees wherever there are protracted services or variations, circumstances for terminating the agreement, actions required on termination and signing the contract using electronic signing.

The CAA2024 is available in an improved digital format (members only) via Acumen as well as hard copy via our online store.

Updated Environment note:

This updated note examines the most prevalent sustainable non-residential building rating tools available in Australia including local and international options. It discusses the strengths, gaps and future plans of tools typically used in Australia, with reference also to the National Construction Code.

Acumen Content Review Panel (ACRP) news

We thank outgoing member Tess Grace (Qld) for her contribution and dedication to the ACRP from May 2023 to July 2024. We warmly welcome new members Judy Arndt (Vic) and Mariola Kesy (Vic) who bring valuable experience from practice and industry.

The ACRP is a national committee tasked to develop and maintain the accuracy, currency and quality of the Acumen Practice Notes.
