Continuing professional development

The continuing professional development (CPD) program at Tusculum sets the gold standard for professional development in NSW. Driving the program are ideas firmly rooted in practice and the needs of practitioners: helping members sharpen their skills, keep abreast of legislative changes and helping attendees operate at the frontier of the profession. Structured around a core program, events include in-depth tours of award-winning buildings, technical and legislative sessions to seminars and workshops focused on practice strategies, building typologies and marketing.

In most states of Australia, including NSW, it is compulsory for registered architects to do CPD. Be aware that A+ members of the Institute are required to accrue yearly CPD points regardless of their state of registration. Download a  sample CPD Record form. For more information about CPD for architects, see the NSW Architects Registration Board CPD page. INFORMATION SHEET - Continuing Professional Development.
