Expression of Interest Submission

Registered Institute members interested in serving as jurors in the 2024 Western Australian Architecture Awards are invited to complete this form.

Jury applications have been extended and close Sunday, 31 December 2023.

Jurors must be voting members of the Institute, in the Member or Associate categories Members of the Institute (registered architects and those who have held an accredited Master of Architecture for at least five years).

Members cannot sit on a jury for more than three consecutive years.

Please note that jurors must be available for the following:

  • 22 February 2024 – Jury Briefing
  • 24 Feburary 2024 – Presentation to Juries
  • 18 - 28 March 2024 – Site Visits (Site visits may be scheduled at any point during this period, regional sites may require visits outside of these dates)
  • 7 June 2024 – Western Australian Architecture Awards Night

Our Graduate Jury Program provides a wonderful opportunity for members who have graduated in the last five years to sit alongside our Awards juries throughout the program in a non-voting capacity. View full program guide and terms here.

In alignment with the Institute’s Gender Equity Policy (2019), principle 11, we are seeking to achieve a split of 40% women, 40% men and 20% any gender allocation to our juries.

Conflict of Interest

A juror must not have a Conflict of Interest in a 2024 Awards entry that will affect their consideration or assessment of or voting on an entry. Invariably some entrants may be a friend or colleague of a juror, in which case the potential conflict arising from any such relationship is a matter for the integrity and ethical responsibility of the juror concerned. Answers below will not make you ineligible but you may be asked to provide further information. If selected as a juror, the process below will need to be repeated when you become aware of your Field of Entries.
